De Verbetering Parket is in 2001 opgericht door Jeroen de Jong (21-02-1978). Zijn grote kennis van het hout gecombineerd met zijn creativiteit blijven voor diverse aannemers, binnenhuisarchitecten en projectontwikkelaars reden om De Verbetering Parket in te schakelen.

De houten vloeren van De Verbetering Parket vonden hun weg naar historische panden, moderne nieuwbouwwoningen, musea, bedrijven en showrooms. Vele honderden vloeren dragen het stempel van De Verbetering Parket. Een groot aantal ligt rond de Amsterdamse grachten. Maar de vloeren zijn ook te vinden in de rest van Nederland en in België.
